Grace was just in here with me and I scrolled down the screen. She saw a picture of the mealworm next to the beetle and said "ewww..."
She didn't know that she was growing "that kind of beetle".
"What did you think it was going to be?"
"I don't know. A pretty beetle."

LOL That's cute! I guess the teacher didn't tell/show them what to expect for the life cycle. :-)
ok it is a cute story but will you please post a picture that doesn't involve a worm. I was eating lunch today (left overs with hashbrowns cooked with it) and I couldn't eat it. I kept having to inspect the shredded potato pieces to make sure that it wasn't a worm.
One of those where you get the picture in your head and then it won't go away...
That is exactly why I couldn't participate in family chicken noodle soup night!
